With smartphones getting bigger and bigger to the point where some of them are almost tablet-sized, the number of available compact phones has declined drastically so much that most phone makers have already given up on small phones. If you are thinking of buying a compact phone. there are limited but surprisingly good phones that can easily last you a few years. From Oppo Find X8 to Samsung Galaxy S25, here are some of the best compact phones you can buy in February 2025.
The Edge 50 Neo sports a slightly larger 6.4-inch screen, which might deter away those small palms, but this phone offers almost everything you would want from a mid-range device. It has a capable MediaTek chipset that does not lag in everyday tasks bundled with a clean and easy-to-use near-stock Android with some Moto magic on top.
You also get a telephoto shooter and wireless charging, a feature that is usually found on premium flagship devices. And while Motorola has announced that the phone will get 5 Android updates, the company has a poor track record of updating its phones to the latest version. Another thing to keep in mind is that the phone packs in a 4,310mAh battery that may not last a full day for moderate and heavy users.
While the Edge 50 Neo (review) isn’t the fastest or best camera phone in its price bracket, it is one of the few compact phones that can do it all without burning a hole in your pocket. It starts from Rs 20,999.

Backed by a huge 5,630mAh battery that can charge the phone in under an hour, and has a triple camera setup which is as capable as any premium flagship phone.
If you can live with the 6.5-inch screen and slightly fewer Android updates than what Google and Samsung are offering, the Oppo Find X8 is an easy recommendation for the asking price. It is priced at Rs 69,999.
