Apple may have postponed the launch of the iPhone SE 4 to next week. The highly anticipated budget iPhone was initially expected to debut on February 11 alongside the PowerBeats Pro 2, the company’s first wireless earbuds that also doubles up as a heart rate monitor.
In a post on X (previously Twitter), Apple analyst Mark Gurman hinted that Apple will unveil the iPhone SE 4 sometime next week, and, in the meantime, there will be a bunch of smaller announcements. The tipster also suggested that the M4 MacBook Air is just a few weeks away.

Today, Apple is expected to make “a smaller announcement”, but we have no idea what it could be. As for Friday, the tech giant might have some news about the Apple Vision Pro, the company’s first Mixed Reality headset.
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to be a major upgrade over the iPhone SE 3, which was launched way back in 2022. The upcoming phone is said to ditch the Home button in favour of Face ID, have an iPhone 14-like design and feature a USB-C port.
On the hardware front, the iPhone SE 4 is rumoured to pack the new A18 chip, which also powers the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus. If true, this might mean that the phone will also support Apple Intelligence features.
We may also see a high-resolution 48MP sensor, which will be a huge step-up from the previous generation’s 12MP shooter. Rumour also has it that the new iPhone SE will have a larger screen, but Apple is yet to officially confirm any of this, so we suggest you take this information with a huge grain of salt.
