Dyson, the company known for its high-end home appliances and audio products, today unveiled OnTrac, a new feature-packed wireless headphone that comes with customisable earcups and cushions.
Dyson says that it is using a custom Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) algorithm that comprises eight microphones and samples external sound 3,84,000 times in a second, which helps effectively reduce the noise by up to 40dB. Powered by 40mm drivers, the headphones feature 16-ohm neodymium speaker drivers and advanced signal processing that makes sure you hear every note or word.
The company claims that its OnTrac headphones can reproduce frequencies ranging from 6Hz to 21,000Hz, letting users enjoy the deep sub-bass and clear highs. The Dyson OnTrac headphones have two high-capacity lithium-ion battery cells suspended in the headband that can last up to 55 hours on a single charge with ANC enabled. To switch ANC on or off, you can simply double-tap on either cup.

Available in four colourways, the Dyson OnTrac is inspired by the CNC manufacturing process with options including CNC Aluminium, Copper and Nickel while the Ceramic Cinnabar finish gives it a ceramic-feel painted finish. You can also customise the outer caps and ear cushions in various colours and finishes, with the outer caps made from high-grade aluminium.
Users can connect the OnTrac headphones using the MyDyson app, which offers several features like real-time soundtracking that monitors in-ear and external volume and choose from Bass Boost, Neutral and Enhanced EQ modes. While the company hasn’t shared any definitive timeline for launch, the OnTrac headphones will soon be available in India.
