Powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 AE edition, the Motorola Edge 50 features a 6.7-inch 120Hz P-OLED screen with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

While Motorola does not advertise the Edge 50 as a gaming phone, it can easily run games like Genshin Impact, Garena Free Fire, BGMI and others at respectable frame rates. The Motorola Edge 50 also happens to be one of the few phones by the company that will get five years of OS updates.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE

If you want a Samsung phone to play games on, the Galaxy S23 FE (review) is an easy recommendation. Featuring the Exynos 2200 chipset, which made its debut on the Galaxy S22 series, the phone has a 6.4-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen.

The IP68 dust and water-resistant phone runs on Android 13 out of the box, with Samsung promising four major OS updates. While the Exynos 2200 may not be as fast as some of its competitors, you will be able to play the latest game at respectable graphics and frame rates without issues.

The Galaxy S23 FE has a 50MP primary camera alongside an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 12MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. You also get some exclusive features like Circle to Search and access to the Galaxy AI feature suite. However, there are a couple of downsides.

The phone is prone to heating up during summer and has a 4,500mAh battery that charges at 25W, which may not be enough for heavy gamers. It is currently selling on Flipkart for Rs 30,999, but you buy it for less than Rs 30,000 using card discounts or during sale.

Looking fo buy a phone that literally shines in the under Rs 30,000 price bracket? The Realme GT 6T might be the one for you. Featuring the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, which comes close to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the phone has a 6.78-inc h120Hz AMOLED screen that gets really bright under direct sunlight and is a delight to look at.

The device runs on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 out of the box and features a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor alongside an average 8MP ultrawide shooter. Most modern mobile games run fairly smooth on the highest settings, but some demanding titles may require you to tone down the graphics a bit if you want to enjoy them at 60fps.

Also, Qualcomm’s latest 7 series chipset does not get hot, which allows the phone to easily last a couple of hours even if you are playing the most visually appealing titles. If you don’t mind spending a bit more than Rs 30,000, the Vivo T3 Ultra is one of the best phones that money can buy. Featuring the Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset, the phone can easily handle whatever you throw at it. From Genshin Impact to Mobile Legends: Bang Bang to Zenless Zero, this mid-range device can easily run all the latest titles without heating up.
