Fujifilm has added another product to its instant camera lineup known as Instax. The new camera called Mini 12 is a pocket-friendly model in the Instax series and lets users print photos on the spot.
Successor to the popular Instax Mini 11, the camera is designed for those who like to take close-up shots and selfies, It has a funky balloon-like design and is available in five colours – purple, blue, pink, mint and white.
The Instax Mini 12 comes with an ‘Automatic Exposure’ function that automatically detects the amount of light when the shutter is pressed and optimises the shutter speed and flash level accordingly. This is really helpful if you want to take photos in different situations where the subject and background differ significantly in terms of bright outdoors and low light conditions.
Instax Mini 12 also comes with a ‘Close-up mode’ that can be activated by rotating the lens once. As the name suggests, the mode helps improve close-up shots and selfies. It also happens to be the first entry-level camera in the Instax series that adjusts the viewfinder’s field of view to match the actual printout area. If you happen to take a lot of selfies, the ‘Selfie Mirror’ beside the lens can be used to check the composition of the photo while shooting.
Fujifilm says the Instax Mini 12 can print photos in just five seconds from the time the user presses the shutter button and takes approximately 90 seconds before the image is completely visible on the printed photo. The instant camera is currently available for purchase on popular e-commerce platforms like Flipkart, Amazon, Nykaa and Instax website and can be purchased for Rs 9,499.
