Meta recently announced that it will soon be rolling out a new Horizon OS update that brings Apple Vision Pro multitasking capabilities to Quest headsets. The new experimental feature lets users rearrange 2D apps in their virtual space and also introduces a new Theater View that can come in handy when you want to focus on a task.
In a blog post, the company said that the new experimental feature will replace Quest’s default three-panel grouping and instead let users grab and move panels however they want. With Horizon OS v67, you can also arrange up to three panels in a new “hinged” layout for a better multitasking experience.
Meta has also added a new “Theater View” button on the panel control bar that allows users to expand its size, bring it to the front or dim everything else. The tech giant says it can be useful when watching movies, browsing the internet or typing a document.

Meta is also adding content from creators to the Horizon Feed on Meta Quest and Meta Quest mobile app, which enables users to catch up with the latest news, helps discover new apps or simply find something to watch.
In the release notes, Meta mentions that the Horizon OS v67 update will get swipe typing support so you can swipe from letter to letter to spell words. The tech giant also made some improvements to the Do Not Disturb settings, which now lets you choose durations.
The Horizon OS v67 update will be rolling out starting July 8 and will be available for the Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest Pro and the Meta Quest 2 headsets.
