Nothing, on Monday, released yet another cryptic teaser on X with the caption, “your second memory, one click away,” accompanied by a monochrome image that appears to depict a dedicated camera button on the upcoming Phone (3a) series. This aligns with the video Nothing shared a week ago, which hinted that the Nothing Phone (3a) would feature four physical buttons. The latest teaser reinforces speculation that the extra button could indeed be a dedicated camera button.

Nothing is set to introduce the Phone (3a) series on March 4, coinciding with the Mobile World Congress (MWC) tech show in Barcelona, where the company will also showcase the devices.
The brand has all but confirmed that the upcoming Phone (3a) series will feature three cameras on the back. Unlike most mid-range phones with a triple-camera setup—often including a low-resolution depth or macro lens—the Phone (3a) series is rumoured to feature a dedicated telephoto lens, making it the first smartphone lineup from the brand to offer a true zoom camera.
Based on the initial teaser, the volume buttons are expected to be on the right side, while the power button and the new, possibly dedicated camera shutter button, will be on the left side. This setup could allow users to quickly access the camera with a single press. However, it remains unclear whether this button will function like a traditional camera shutter button with variable pressure sensitivity—similar to mirrorless cameras—where a half-press focuses on the subject, while a full-press captures the photo.
As the launch of the Phone (3a) series approaches, Nothing is expected to release more teasers and details to build anticipation.
