OnePlus at its winter launch event on Tuesday, introduced the OnePlus 13 series, which includes the flagship OnePlus 13 and the value flagship OnePlus 13R. Additionally, OnePlus unveiled the Sapphire Blue variant of the popular OnePlus Buds Pro 3, which colour-matches with the Midnight Ocean variant of the OnePlus 13.
“With the OnePlus 13 Series, we’re bringing ‘Pro. Everywhere.’ to life, offering pro-level configurations and experiences at a competitive price point. From how you capture the world around you, to how your phone performs under pressure, to the design that fits into your everyday lifestyle, we’ve considered it all. The OnePlus 13 Series smartphones aren’t just phones; they are your ultimate companions for work and play,” said Robin Liu, CEO of OnePlus India.
While the OnePlus 13R is powered by Qualcomm’s previous-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, the same chip that powers the OnePlus 12, the OnePlus 13 is based on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, the same processor found in devices like the iQOO 13 (review) and the Realme GT 7 Pro.

The design and build quality have also been updated, with both the OnePlus 13 and the OnePlus 13R offering a premium glass-metal sandwich design. The OnePlus 13 comes with an IP69/68 rating for water and dust resistance, while the OnePlus 13R has an IP65 splash resistance rating.
The OnePlus 13R and the OnePlus 13 ship with Android 15-based OxygenOS 15, incorporating OnePlus AI and Google-specific AI capabilities like Gemini and Circle to Search. OnePlus has committed to keeping the 13 and 13R updated with four years of major OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
Both phones feature a massive 6,000 mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging. However, only the OnePlus 13 supports up to 50W wireless charging. This time, the company has also introduced a range of magnetic accessories, including a 5,000 mAh wireless power bank, a 50W magnetic charger, and a sandstone magnetic case, which mimic the functionality of MagSafe.
