There have been discussions about OnePlus’s next smartphone. While some referred to it as the OnePlus 13 Mini, others speculated it would be called the OnePlus 13T. To end the guessing game, the company, on Tuesday, confirmed that it has been named OnePlus 13T, and described it as “small, beautiful, and powerful.”
According to a teaser posted on Weibo, the device will first launch in China in April and is expected to become available globally a few weeks later.
According to leaks, the OnePlus 13T is likely to be the brand’s smallest flagship in years, featuring a 6.3-inch screen similar to the Xiaomi 15. Despite its compact size, the device is rumoured to house the largest battery ever in a OnePlus smartphone—a 6,200 mAh unit—potentially delivering the best battery life in the brand’s history.
OnePlus 13T is said to feature a dual-camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50 MP primary camera and a 50 MP 2x telephoto lens. It is also expected to be the first OnePlus flagship to include an action button, replacing the iconic alert slider found on devices like the OnePlus 13.
In terms of performance, the OnePlus 13T is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite—the same chip that powers the OnePlus 13. The smartphone is expected to offer at least 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, with higher-end models providing more memory and storage.
OnePlus 13T is likely to be positioned between the OnePlus 13 and the OnePlus 13R, in terms of pricing, making it one of the more affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered smartphones in the market.
