Today, Poco launched the M7 Pro and the C75, two new budget smartphones with 5G connectivity and Sony cameras. Both devices run on Xiaomi’s HyperOS based on Android 14 out of the box and are aimed at budget-conscious users who want a run for their money.
The Poco M7 Pro succeeds last year’s M6 Pro 5G and brings several hardware upgrades like a GOLED screen, higher refresh rate and better cameras. Featuring the Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, the Poco M7 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch 120Hz gOLED screen with FullHD+ resolution. It also gets HDR10+ support and has a peak brightness of 2,100 nits, which the company claims is the brightest display in the segment.
The phone has a plastic frame and features a dual-tone design, with one half of the phone having a matte finish while the other half has a shiny reflective look. You also get a dual rear camera setup that consists of a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera with OIS alongside a depth sensor.

For those wondering, the rear 50MP Sony LYT-600 supports in-sensor zoom and super-resolution and comes with an AI Night mode, which should help when clicking pictures in low light. The front of the device packs a 20MP selfie shooter that should be good enough for video calls and meetings on the go.
Some other standout features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, IP 64 water resistance, dual stereo speakers and a built-in IR blaster. The phone comes with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which can be expanded using the microSD card slot. All of this is powered by a 5,110mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. Poco M7 Pro will get two years of Android updates and four years of security patches.
Poco also unveiled the C75, another 5G budget phone powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset. It packs a slightly larger 6.88-inch 120Hz LCD screen with HD+ resolution and 600 nits brightness.
The company says that 5G works with SA networks, which means you will only be able to use it if you happen to have a Jio SIM. On the back, you get a dual-tone finish with the upper half of the phone featuring a large circular camera island that houses a 50MP Sony sensor with f/1.8 aperture.

Poco C75 comes with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB storage and packs a 5,160mAh battery with 18 wired charging support. It is available in three colourways – Enchanted Green, Aqua Blue and Silver Stardust.
