Promate today launched new Panda wireless headphones designed for children. The over-the-ear headphones come with LED-illuminated cat ears. The company says the new headphones are ‘engineered with safety and comfort as a priority for kids” and come with a built-in volume limiter with a cap of 93 decibels that ensures kids don’t accidentally damage their ears when using the headphones for a long time.
The Panda headphone also features a built-in microphone and foldable design, making it easy to carry on the go. In wireless mode, Promate says the over-the-ear headphones have a maximum range of 10 meters and come with a 1,000mAh battery that can last up to 40 hours on a single charge.
It also comes with a 1.5 meter-long nylon braided AUX cable that packs another microphone which also helps reduce external noise. The headphones have small soft cushions that are made from breathable and durable materials to offer a pressure-free fit when worn for a long time. The headphone even has a microSD card slot so your kids can listen to music without having to pair with a smartphone.
The company claims that the headphones have a flexible and durable design that can withstand some drops and falls from children, feature a twistable headband that is easy to adjust and can be worn by children over two years of age. Promate Panda is available in three colours – Aqua, Bubblegum and Lilac, has two years of warranty and can be purchased either from the Promate website or Amazon for Rs 2,499.
