Realme 14 Pro Plus with triple flash and colour changing back panel now available in India | Technology News

Like the recently launched OnePlus 13R (review), the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. As it turns out, Realme’s 14 Pro Plus offers IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, which means it can easily handle being submerged underwater as well as high-pressure water jets.

While these features are becoming standard on newer mid-range devices, the Realme 14 Pro Plus is the first phone in the world to have a cold-sensitive colour-changing back on the Pearl White variant. The company says it co-designed the phone with Danish studio Valuer Designers, with the back having thermochromic pigments, which starts out as white, but turns blue when the temperature drops below 16 degrees Celsius.

The back of the phone has a circular camera island that houses a triple camera step, which consists of a 50MP Sony IMX896 sensor with OIS accompanied by a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope lens with 3x optical zoom and 6x lossless zoom and an 8MP Sony IMX896 ultrawide shooter. In addition to this, the Realme 14 Pro Plus also happens to sport three separate flash modules, which it claims “automatically restores natural skin tones in low-light conditions.” It has a 6,000mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging. The base variant of the Realme 14 Pro Plus, which comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is currently available for Rs 29,999, while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version is priced at Rs 34,999. Realme is also offering a Rs 2,000 discount via bank offer and an extra Rs 1,000 exchange bonus.
