Samsung is one of the few phone makers known that offers great build quality, long software support and intuitive user interface at every price point, be it a flagship or a budget device. If you want to upgrade your older Samsung device or want to buy a new one without spending more than Rs 20,000, here are some of the best options available right now.
Last month, Samsung launched the Galaxy F06, its first ever 5G phone under Rs 10,000. Running on One UI 7 based on Android 15, the company’s latest budget smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and has a large 6.7-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution.
Samsung says the Galaxy F06 will get 4 years of OS updates and security patches. You also get 12 5G bands and support for Carrier Aggregation, a feature that is usually on much higher priced phones. The back of the phone houses a 50MP primary camera alongside a 2MP depth shooter.
If you are looking for a secondary 5G phone or want to buy a Samsung device that will last years to come, the Galaxy F06 is the one for you. The base variant of the phone with 4GB RAM is currently available for Rs 9,499, but if you can spend a bit more, we recommend going with the 6GB RAM version, which is priced at Rs 10,999.

Launched last month, it comes with One UI 7 based on Android 15 and will get 6 years of OS updates, which is pretty rare in this price segment.
The back of the phone has a vertical camera island that houses a 50MP primary shooter in addition to a 5MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The IP54 rated phone also packs a 5,000mAh that supports 25W charging. The huge battery is complimented by a 6.6–inch 120Hz sAMOLED screen, which is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ and gets bright under direct sunlight. On the back, you get a 50MP primary shooter accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. It also happens to be one of the few phones in its price segment that supports 4K recording from both back and front cameras.
The only downsides are that the phone is on the heavier side (222g) and has a side mounted fingerprint sensor, which many may not like. However, if you are looking to buy a capable Samsung device with a big battery, good cameras and impressive display, this is an easy recommendation. The Galaxy M35 starts from Rs 14,547, but if you can spend a bit more, buy the 8GB RAM version.
