With rapid advancements in technology, smartphones have become affordable to the point it is possible to get a good phone that can last a few years without burning a hole in your pocket. If you are looking to buy a secondary phone or have a tight budget, here are some of the best android smartphones under Rs 10,000 that offer great value for money.

Launched in December last year, the Motorola g05 is a budget phone that stands out with its clean software and premium look.

Sporting the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, it has a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD screen protected by Gorilla Glass 3, a rarity among budget phones. The device runs on Android 15 and is IP54-rated, meaning it can easily handle water splashes.

It gets a 50MP primary camera and a faux leather finish at the back that offers a good grip. It makes it feel like you are holding a premium device. Another upside is that it has a 5,200mAh battery that charges at 18W.

The downsides are the lack of 5G connectivity and the 64GB storage, but you can always buy a microSD card to expand it. If you can live with that, the Motorola g05 is an easy recommendation for Rs 6,999.
