Measuring just 5.8mm thick and weighing 163g, the Galaxy S25 Edge is Samsung’s slimmest flagship yet. It features a durable titanium body with curved edges and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for added protection. However, it does miss out on the non-reflective coating found on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Despite its sleek form, the device delivers high-end performance and photography capabilities powered by Galaxy AI.
“We designed the Galaxy S25 Edge to push boundaries in both design and experience. It represents a leap forward in engineering that brings premium features to a slim, highly portable form factor,” said TM Roh, President and Acting Head of Samsung’s Device eXperience Division.
Although it is the thinnest smartphone in the Galaxy S25 lineup, it isn’t the lightest, weighing one gram more than the base Galaxy S25 — a much smaller phone with a 6.3-inch screen when compared to the 6.7-inch QHD+, 120Hz refresh rate screen on the Galaxy S25 Edge.
Despite its compact size, the S25 Edge includes a 200 MP wide-angle camera, using the same sensor as the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The phone also features a 12 MP ultra-wide camera and a 12 MP selfie shooter.
It runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy — the same chip used across the S25 series — and ships with Android 15-based One UI 7. It also includes several Galaxy AI features like Audio Eraser. A 3,900mAh battery powers the device, with support for 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Like the rest of the Galaxy S25 series, the Galaxy S25 Edge is eligible for seven years of major OS and security updates.
The Galaxy S25 Edge comes in three finishes: Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue. The base variant, with 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage, is priced at $1,099 in the US.
