OnePlus recently announced that the much anticipated OnePlus Pad 3 will be launched globally on June 5. In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), OnePlus confirmed that the upcoming tablet will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset – the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
The post also mentions that the OnePlus Pad 3 will seamlessly sync with iOS, something the company’s Android powered tablets have been missing out on. As it turns out, the tablet will also bring “an upgraded Open Canvas for next-level multitasking”, the company’s multitasking feature that lets users run several apps simultaneously.

However, this isn’t the OnePlus Pad 3 that was launched last year in China. Instead, it looks like the company is rebranding the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro as the OnePlus Pad 3 for the global market. Since this is likely to be a rebranded tablet, the Pad 3 is most likely to pack in a 13.2-inch LCD screen with 144 refresh rate and 900 nits peak brightness.
Running on Oxygen OS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box, the Android tablet may pack a quad speaker setup and come with an optional keyboard accessory with a built-in trackpad.
Speculations also suggest that the OnePlus Pad 3 will come with up to 512GB of storage and 16GB RAM and sport a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. All of this might be powered by a 12,140mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging.
While OnePlus is yet to reveal how much the OnePlus Pad 3 will cost, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro starts from CNY 3,199, which roughly translates to Rs 38,000. This is in line with the price of the OnePlus Pad 2, which was launched in India last year with a starting price tag of Rs 39,999. However, the company is yet to confirm if the upcoming tablet will be coming to India.
